AccuChart Cadet

– Semi-Automated Unit-Dose Repackaging and Barcode Labeling Solutions

This suite of more compact solutions provides semi-automated solutions for unit-dose repackaging. The various solutions in this suite of machines are individually dedicated to the various different product groups that the ATDPS cannot handle. Basically the Cadet suite handles the missing pieces of the puzzle.

The Wet Cadet handles liquid unit-dose repackaging. It repackages bulk liquids into unit-dose cups with barcode and relevant product information printed on the label. This removes the hassle of the nurse having to pour out individual doses for patients during medication dispensing and administration.

The Blister Cadet handles the tablets/capsules that cannot be de-blistered or obtained in their loose form to be repackaged by the ATDPS. This machine also puts each tablet/capsule in a sachet with barcode and relevant product information printed on one side. This, together with the ATDPS ensures that 100% of tablets/capsules in the hospital are now available in unit-dose.

The AccuPrint 600 is a barcode labeling solution which can now ensure that each vial/ampoule/syringe is now available in unit-dose for the nurse to dispense or administer to the patient. For multi-dose vials, the machine can also print piggy-back labels which the nurse can use to track/administer down to individual doses of the medication.

The AccuPack is an over-wrapping machine that can be used in two ways. One is to package supply items such as sutures, patches, ECG pads and also bigger vials and syringes into unit-dose bags. Another way that this machine can be used is to consolidate patient-specific medication bags with all the unit-dose sachets and cups in each bag for that particular medication round or on a daily basis.
